Connecticut Perspective of the Long Island Sound: Photo Gallery

Stuart ‘Stu’ Foster is a passionate photographer from New Haven, CT.

He is a Connecticut native, and has lived there most of his life so naturally many of his subjects are from the area especially the coastal regions.  His interest in photography began when he was 8 years old, bought a “real camera” and began shooting and developing b/w film. Photography was not his chosen profession, but nearly always had a camera with him…which, of course has become much easier over time.

His subject matter is rather eclectic as he loves shooting landscapes, flowers and abstracts.  Stu has entered his work in several exhibitions in Connecticut, most notably the annual  Milford (CT) Photo Expo… where he has been recognized with Honorable Mention and People’s Choice awards.

Most recently he had a solo exhibit at the Hoos Gallery in the JCC of greater New Haven. (CT)

It was titled “Hope, Hearts, and Connection…a 26 photograph thematic collection.
